Merry Christmas!!

I hope that you and yours have had a Wonderful Christmas Day!

We have had a fantastic day ourselves.  There was the joy of finding that once again, Santa did come and left goodies in the stockings!  Not to mention the pillow pets (penguin and polar bear) that were asked for.  Alex, the teen, got the Navy peacoat he had wanted and Mom and Dad got fun little bits to enjoy too. (Did I mention the pillow pets? I now have a sheep and purple kitty!!)

Persephone is loving that the undertree space is once again hers to hide and play in; now that the gifts have been unwrapped.  She is such a silly Kitty.

Day 8 only 17 days left till Christmas!!

HI! Thank you for stopping by! I hope you have had a good day. I had one of those agrivating days where you stay home all day because you are waiting on an 'Important' phone call and you Can Not Miss It!! And the call never came. Sigh.

Anywho, once I realized that I was not going to get the call, I just went on and ran my errands that I needed to run. I got some Christmas shopping done for my younger two boys. Gabe is 10 and is my ginger-haired stepson, and Shae is 13 and such a blond boy he is too. lol

Today in the Advent Swap my gift from Cinderella was just too cute!!

It's a little snowflake stamp!!

By now it is becoming obvious that I *Love* snowflakes!!

We now have our tree up and all the trimmings are finally ON the tree! Including the candy canes! One just can not have a proper tree if one does not put on candy canes! At least, I think so ... and we all know what one says about opinions. LOL

As I am learning how to use blogger for posting my blogs, I am learning that I need to post all the pictures *first*, then add text. ;-) I still think I am liking blogger better than wordpress.
Well, I'm off to enjoy the rest of my evening sitting infront of my tree with my Kitty Persphone and get some hooky time in. I am determined to get this scarf Done!! This scarf that was supposed to have been my Mother-in-laws *Birthday* gift in October!! Sigh.

First Day on the "job" ... how's it going?

Greetings, and Good Day to you!!

I'm trying out this format for the first time. I normally use Wordpress for my blogging. However, posting pictures on to that blog is driving me a little bit bonkers, not that anyone would notice the difference. ;-) Well, how is your day going so far? Mine is fab, even if it is dreary and wet outside and I am going to have to leave the house soon to run some errands. Sigh.

Well now, let me test the picture posting here and see if I like it. Humm, what to post? Oh yes, a Viking "Longship" that was made for our local Christmas Parade!!

This is neat, isn't it? We had so much fun making this 'ship'.

We are even working on ideas for next year and how to make it bigger and better!!
