We spent most of our day today at a friends house, eating, drinking, and making merry! Linda and Casey have been hosting this New Year's Day brunch for many years now, and it is a tradition to go.
Also, as a girl rasied in Georgia, I, for the first time ever, made the traditional New Years Day meal.
Greens, ham, black eyed peas, and corn bread!
The corn bread was made with a drained can of Rotel, and a can creamed corn instead of milk. Yum!!
Greens for wealth, ham for health, and peas for luck!
Here is hoping that the next year is full of good wealth, good health, and good luck for you all!
